Trip to PA - Part 6 - Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery

After Martin's we were off to downtown Litiz to visit the Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery. There we got to do a fun tour!

A diagram of how Mr. Sturgis used to make pretzels.

We got to make pretzel out of dough (not real pretzel dough) and mine turned out pretty good I think!

Aunt Robin and her pretzel.

Barbie and her pretzel.

Here are the ovens that used to bake the Sturgis pretzels - since their renovation, the pretzels are baked elsewhere.

Robin and Chris under a pretzel - this is the proper way to look at a pretzel. The large hole at the top represents the Father and the other 2 holes are for the Son and Holy Ghost.

The group outside the factory behind a fake pretzel!

I knew what a pretzel represented, but I never knew you were supposed to look at it that way!

I think your prezel looks the best, but don't tell anyone I said that... ;-)
