...I haven't posted in a long while. I was doing so good with my trip to PA but a lot of stuff has been going on since my last post on June 5th.
Unfortunately a wonderful woman that I sang with both in church and our community chorus died a week ago yesterday of Ovarian Cancer. Her Celebration of Life Service was last Thursday.
In February of this year she wrote her Celebration of Life Service which included LOTS and LOTS of AMAZING music, a lot of peaceful scripture and messages.
Elaine's favorite bible verse was Nahum 1:7.
The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him
That verse just speaks volumes to me that I had to share with you.
I promise to get back to blogging on a more regular schedule :-)

- I am a wife, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, auntie, friend, technical writer, singer, swimmer, baker, photographer, babysitter, paper crafter and want to be gardner. I am a good person. I married the love of my life in June 2007 and we're giving ourselves a few more years of "together" time before we try to become parents. Some day we will build our house on the 7 acres that's already cleared for us to build on. I attend an amazing church and sing in the choir under the leadership of probably the most amazing director/singer I've ever worked with. I sang at Carnegie Hall in May 2007 with composer and director John Rutter while we sang his Requiem - it was an amazing experience! I have been paid for some of the cakes I've baked & decorated. Recently I was hired to assist in photographing a dual ceremony wedding (Catholic and Hindu).
